I have chosen this image as my main cover picture as it looks authentic. The expression on her face connects with the genre of my magazine and the eye makeup makes her look 'darker'.
The clothing and hair is appropriate for my genre and will go well with my house style which will include red.
I changed the bottom of her hair to be more of a dark red as apposed to the pink in the first picture. I also added more dark around her eyes and darkened her lips to give her even more of a 'rock' look.
I have edited it a number of times such as brightening and making the background a continuous colour. More edit's still need to be done to get it to the right size and shape and also possibly removing the background.
